We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, the Bible is our foundation and students learn through a whole child approach––nurturing their growth spiritually, academically, physically and socially. We invite you to visit us and learn more about how this happens at our school.
Our Mission
South Suburban SDA Christian School is dedicated to providing a superior standard of Christian education in a safe, supportive learning environment that: promotes the harmonious development of the spiritual, mental, physical, and social life of students; promotes academic excellence; and encourages students to achieve their personal best in preparation for service to God and humanity.
Our Motto
Setting superior standards in Christian education.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy of education is based on the belief that all true wisdom and knowledge come from God. It is our privilege to cooperate with divine agencies and the home to help students mold their characters into a likeness of God; to rightly understand the esteem in which God holds them, so that they develop a respectful love for God, themselves, and others. It is our desire to nurture that love so that students strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
Highlights
Emmanuel Church family will be donating items to help ensure your scholars are fully prepared for the new school year. We know how important it is for every child to start strong, and it’s our joy to help provide the tools they need for success. We are so thankful for a supportive church family that always has your children in mind.
PFE is a work study mentoring program where students meet with a mentor once per week. This helps them build valuable skills through this program. Our new PFE Director is Rozyln Walls. If you wish to participate in the Partners for Eternity (PFE) program this 2025–2026 school year, please complete this form.
If you would like to chaperone a field trip, the Lake Region Conference requires that we have an approved background check on file for anyone driving students (other than their own children). Our first field trip is in September. Please be sure to sign up so you can join us for apple picking. We would love to have you!
