For nearly 80 years, Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church has been blessed to serve Chicago Heights and families throughout the surrounding communities. As we prepare to commemorate this historic milestone on October 31, 2026, our attention remains firmly focused on the mission that has sustained Emmanuel since 1946:

serving people when they need us most.

Recently, families and businesses throughout our surrounding communities have experienced significant hardships caused by severe weather, including widespread power outages, fallen trees, property damage, damaged vehicles, and other unexpected emergencies.

For some families, an event that lasts only a few minutes can create financial and personal challenges that last for weeks or months.

We want Emmanuel to be prepared to help.

We Are Asking for Your Help

As part of our 80th Anniversary Community Service Initiative, we are respectfully asking your business to consider making a $1,000 charitable contribution to support Emmanuel's continuing community outreach and service efforts.

Your contribution will help strengthen our ability to respond to needs within our community and continue the work that Emmanuel has carried forward for eight decades.

While the enclosed package outlines opportunities to become an official sponsor of our 80th Anniversary Celebration.

We understand that a traditional event sponsorship may not be the right fit for every business.

If sponsorship is not possible, we ask that you please consider supporting our mission through a $1,000 community-service donation instead.

Your Support Will Be Recognized

We believe businesses that invest in their communities deserve to be acknowledged.

Therefore, businesses contributing $1,000 or more through this appeal will be recognized as 80th Anniversary Community Patrons and acknowledged alongside our supporters during this historic celebration.
